Rarity only shows on chain once a valid reveal transaction lands. Every trait group has its own weight table, all five groups total 1000 each, and a piece's rarity is the product of its five picks. The site preview uses illustrative inputs and cannot predict a live piece. A producer who knows the collection seed could calculate traits early.
Each chance is its TABLE weight divided by 10. Each group totals 100%.

Multiply the five weights a piece landed on, then divide 10005 by that product and round. A piece that picked a 500-weight silhouette, a 400-weight gradient family, a 500-weight seal tint, a 600-weight frame finish and a 350-weight backdrop has product 500 × 400 × 500 × 600 × 350 = 21,000,000,000,000, and 10005 ÷ that product rounds to 1 in 48.
Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary. Each tier groups mixes by the total mint weight of strictly more likely mixes. Ties stay together. The shared TIERS table in js/snag-market.js defines all five boundaries. Whole percentages keep the labels readable; individual trait chances explain what makes an opened piece unusual.
